Student Testimonials

We interviewed several international and French students in order to find out what they personally thought about the job fair.
Within the framework of our interview we came up with some tips for students participating in future job fairs.

What were their impressions of Novancia’s job fair?

In general they stated that Novancia’s job fair was a good idea, it was well organized and particularly for French master students looking for a longer internship it was a particularly good opportunity.

What do they think about the help offered?

Although they told us that orientation was not very difficult, according to the students, there was sufficient help offered. Support came from the administration and the employers but especially from other students and teachers who were present at the Job Fair.

Were they able to meet all the companies they planned to?

According to the interviewees you have to be really good in time management to meet all the companies you planned to.
So for all the students attending Novancia’s next job fair, keep in mind that time is money, so be prepared and manage your time efficiently.

Were they satisfied with the offer of the participating companies?

Our interviewees were really happy with Novancia’s diverse offer of participating companies. Many students were able to find an attractive company although some students would like to have found a foreign internship within one of the international companies.
For future participating students this means that you have to prepare yourself well in advance and select in advance which companies you want to meet.

Were they satisfied with the company representatives who were present at the job fair?

The representatives which were sent to Novancia’s job fair by the companies were perceived as very competent although they unfortunately sometimes could not answer all the questions raised by the students. Nevertheless, they were perceived as being very interested in the students and in finding an intern.
And again, for future participants: Be prepared, think carefully about exactly what information you want from the representatives and phrase your questions clearly and precisely.

Sustainable Business Development

Novancia’s commitment to ‘Sustainable Business Development’

Under arrangements made by Novancia in favor of the environment –and in full compliance with those undertaken by companies-, the Corporate Relations and Partnerships will not produce a printed version of the Companies Book.

A digital issue will be sent by email to the exponents on January 15th, 2013 and posted on the Students Extranet, as receipt of information provided by companies.

As part of its action ‘For a wider corporate culture of Novancia’s Students’, the Corporate Relations and Partnerships Department is committed to posting the links to the websites of exponents, in their topics ‘Overview, Strategy, Commitments & Sustainable Development, Careers, Global presence’ with the placement opportunities and links for application.

This action also aims to acknowledge the quality of information provided by companies to our Business School’s Students for many years –and the time they spent- and the quality of the companies’ websites, setting up a real source of information for the student community.
