Fundraising for the British Red Cross
Ioana Cantave, MSc student, will participate in the 2016 Paris Half Marathon on March 6th 2016. She will run for the British Red Cross* and needs our help to make a donation. Her goal is to reach £400!
Ioana has opened her own fundraising page on the website of the non-for-profit UK company “Virgin Money Giving” on which she explains her background (she is very passionate about sports, health and fitness) and motivations (helping those who cannot help themselves). You can donate as much as you wish: “every £ counts!” she tells us. You just have to click on “Donate now” button.
Before going straight to the fundraising page, please take a moment to watch the video especially created for the occasion.
The British Red Cross is a local, national and international charity that aids more than 20 different countries, concerned to responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies. In 2014 the British Red Cross has helped in the Ebola Outbreak in Africa, the Balkan Floods in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This February the association has delivered medical supplies to Taiz, in Yemen, and provided assistance for the care and the supply of water and food.
